Shelton High robotics team competes in New England tourney
The Shelton High School robotics team has qualified for the New England district championship later this week in Boston.
The event will take place Thursday to Saturday, April 10 to 12, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Agganis Arena on the Boston University campus. The competition is open to the public and admission is free.
Participating will be 55 teams from Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
The Shelton High team is currently ranked 11th in points going into the event, and hopes to garner enough qualification points to be eligible to compete at the world championship in St. Louis at the end of the month.
