Lautenschlager gets a scholarship from BIC

Miriam Lautenschlager of Shelton earned a $3,000 scholarship from BIC Corporation. The scholarships are awarded annually to the children of BIC employees and are based on the students’ scholastic achievements and community service.

This year, BIC awarded $115,000 in scholarships to 62 students, including  Lautenschlager, who is studying nursing at Saint Anselm College. She is the daughter of Marlene Lautenschlager.

BIC Corporation began its scholarship program in 1971 to support future leaders and to help employees’ children defray the cost of college and graduate school.
