Perry Hill student wins in annual eesmarts contest

Olivia Katherine Wong, a fifth grader at Perry Hill School won third place in the annual eesmarts  Student Contest.

The contest is part of Energize Connecticut’s eesmarts program — together with CL&P, United Illuminating and the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund.

The contest gives Connecticut students the opportunity to showcase their smarts about saving energy by answering grade-level specific prompts regarding energy efficient and renewable energy technology. Students submitted entries in a variety of mediums including poems, essays, graphs and artwork.
