Students from the area were awarded a $500 scholarship from the Valley Association of Realtors. Students were chosen based on having a 3.0 grade point average or higher, being officially enrolled in higher education for the 2012 school year, and will be selected on a “need basis” by income or multiple children attending college from the same family. Students from Shelton High School were: Justin Letendre and Shannon Triebwasser.
