Summer science program on tap for Shelton students

The Camp Invention summer program will return to Shelton in 2013. The camp is a week-long summer day program for children entering grades one through six, created in partnership with the National Inventors Hall of Fame and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

The goal is to allow children to discover their own innate creativity and inventiveness through hands-on science, technology, engineering and math activities.

Camp Invention, offered through the nonprofit Invent Now Inc., will take place from July 22-26 at Perry Hill School. To register a child or to learn more about the camp, go to or call 800-968-4332.
