Aleksandra W. Szczesna of Shelton is one of 775 students at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg named to the dean’s list for the fall semester. Szczesna is a sophomore at the university. The dean’s list recognizes outstanding academic achievement at the university by full-time students who attain at least a 3.5 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale.
