Ralph J. Lombardi, 79, husband of Monica Boulay Lombardi, died March 12, at home.

Born in Ansonia on June 24, 1936, son of the late Pasquale and Michelina Giarratano Lombardi; U.S. Army; communicant of St. Augustine Church, Seymour where he served daily Mass for 10 years; awarded the Saint Joseph Archdiocesan Medal of Appreciation in 2012, by Archbishop Henry J. Mansell, DD.

Also survived by a son, Christopher Lombardi of Bangkok, Thailand, a daughter, Lynn Lombardi of Fountain Valley, Calif., a sister, Jean Michalak of Shelton, nephews, Joseph Michalak (Claire), Lawrence Michalak (Lorie) and their children, many cousins, and his wife’s children, Daniel Pantaleo (Sandra) and Kathryn Pantaleo.

Visiting hours: Tuesday, March 15, 4-7 p.m., Spinelli-Ricciuti/Bednar-Osiecki funeral home, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Wednesday, his funeral will take place at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, 35 Washington Avenue, Seymour. Burial follows in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery, Derby.
