Obituary: Danna Usher Cobb Paglino, former Huntington resident and school teacher
Danna Usher Cobb Paglino, a resident Huntington for many years until 1981, and a local school teacher, passed away June 25th, 2014.
Danna was born in 1942 in West Virginia to Usher and Arnette Cobb. She married Vincent Michael Paglino in 1964. Vince was an engineer who worked for Sikorsky Aircraft.
Their two sons Justin and Ethan were born in 1973 and 1976, respectively. The family lived on Sherwood Lane.
Danna is survived by her sons, a niece Deborah Gardner and two nephews Keith and Eric Gardner.
She was predeceased by her husband in 2005, and her sister Ila Rae Cobb Gardner in 2007.
Danna had many inspiring qualities including her humor, intelligence, love for her family, hard work, and creativity. She was a talented actress, singer, and author. After the passing of her husband she spent many years in Naples, Florida, volunteering hundreds of hours at the Sugden Community Theater set shop.
She was a loving daughter, mother, wife, sister, aunt, and grandmother to Justin’s children Dean and Elise. She is greatly missed.
