Obituary: Eileen B. (O'Connor) Hampton, 80, of Stratford
Eileen B. (O'Connor) Hampton, 80, of Stratford, formerly of New York, nurse, homemaker, wife of the late Charles R. Hampton, died March 23, in Gaylord Hospital, Wallingford.
Born in Manhattan, N.Y., Feb. 4, 1936, daughter of the late James and Mary (McDonald) O'Connor.
Survived by two sons, James Hampton and his wife, Karen of Long Island and Kenneth Hampton of Stratford, three daughters, Maryanne Houghton of Shelton, Theresa Hampton of the Bronx and Christine Feliciano and her husband, Luis of Stratford, 10 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Also predeceased by her daughter, Kathleen (Hampton) Schiavone, her sister, Joan Shields and her brother, John O'Connor.
Services: Tuesday, March 29, 9 a.m., William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main St., Stratford and at 10 a.m., in St. Mark's Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Visiting hours: Monday, 4-8 p.m., funeral home.
