Obituary: Helen Antonina Bukowski Dobosz, 90, of Shelton
Helen Antonina Bukowski Dobosz, 90, of Maple Avenue, Shelton, entered into eternal life on Friday, April 24, 2015, at Apple Rehab Shelton Lakes. She was the loving wife for 44 years of the late Edward A. Dobosz Sr.
Helen, the daughter of Antonina and Joseph Bukowski, was born in Shelton on May 18, 1924. She was a resident of the White Hills section of Shelton, residing on the same street for her entire life.
She was a parishioner of St. Lawrence Church and a member of the Shelton Senior Center. She worked at several industries in the valley, retiring from Better Packages, Inc. in Shelton.
She is survived by one daughter, Nancy (Kenneth, PhD) Williams of North Haven and two sons, Theodore (Cynthia) Dobosz of Bethel and Edward (Dianne) Dobosz Jr. of Shelton. She also leaves four grandchildren, Rebecca, PhD (Jonathan) Thessin of Rockville, MD, John Williams of Kansas City, MO, Rachael Dobosz of Chicago, IL, and Mariam Dobosz of Shelton and two precious twin great-grandsons, Andrew and Jacob Thessin. In addition, she leaves two sister-in-laws, Florence (Robert) Stauffer of Naugatuck and Barbara Bukowski of Shelton, several godchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and her dear friends Julie and Robert Simko, Olga Baranowski and Ruth Bard.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Peter, Julian, Ferdinand, John, and Edward Bukowski and sisters Bertha Turecek and Sophie Hill.
