Laura Cirisoli Fichura, 93, formerly of Shelton, entered into eternal rest on March 23, 2013, at Griffin Hospital. She was the beloved wife of 62 years to the late Michael Fichura.

Mrs. Fichura was born in Derby on February 1, 1920, daughter of the late Luigi and Caterina Vagnini Cirisoli.

She was a resident of Shelton for most of her life until moving to Tobyhanna, PA in 1986. In 2008, she returned to CT and resided in Derby.

Prior to retirement, Laura was employed at the former Auto Swage in Shelton for 35 years. She enjoyed shopping, reading and current events.

Her happiest moments were her times spent with her husband in the Poconos.

She is survived by many close nieces and nephews, especially, Raymond A. Cirisoli of Ansonia, Sharon Hammill of Redding, Timothy Cirisoli Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, Marie Griffin of GA, Patrick Ferrillo Jr. of San Francisco, CA, Rita Ferrillo of St. Louis, MO, two sister in laws, Julie Prokop and Mary Breyan and several great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Timothy Cirisoli Sr. and a sister Emma Ferrillo.

SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia handled arrangements. Burial in Mt. St. Peter’s Cemetery in Derby.
