St. Vincent de Paul, Helping Hands of the Valley Thrift Shop and Food Bank, would like to express a huge thank you to all the postal carriers in Derby for their hard work and dedication.
They picked up and delivered the food collected to our organization on their own time.
So we applaud the postal workers who took part in this national food drive organized by the National Association of Letter Carriers in coordination with other agencies, including the U.S. Postal Service.
We also want to thank the community for their support in making the Stamp Out Hunger food drive in May a great success.
