Donald Charles Esposito, age 81, of Shelton, entered into rest on Tuesday July 10, 2012 in St. Vincent’s Medical Center. He is the devoted husband of Kay (Reynolds) Esposito.
Mr. Esposito was born in Bridgeport on Feb. 20, 1931, son of the late Arthur and Anna (Lavery) Esposito and has been a Shelton resident for most of his life.
Mr. Esposito served his country from 1952 to 1954 in the US Marine Corp. and remained in the reserves until 1960.
He retired after 20 years of employment to the Prudential Insurance Company and was a supernumerary police officer in Shelton during the 1970’s.
He was a movie buff and in his spare time enjoyed watching classic movies.
He is the beloved father of Scott Esposito and his wife Mercedes, and Lisa Esposito, and the cherished grandfather of Michael and Stephen Esposito.
His Family may call on Saturday Morning from 8:30 am to 9:30 am at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd. Shelton with his funeral service to follow at 9:30 am in the funeral home. Burial will military honors will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton.
