Maryann Kuczynski DeVincentis

Maryann Kuczynski DeVincentis, 60, of Shelton, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday morning, August 3, 2012, at Bridgeport Hospital, with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of Bertram E. “Bert” DeVincentis.

Maryann was born in Derby on June 11, 1952, daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Palumbo Kuczynski.

A resident of Shelton since 1970, she was employed as a front office clerk at Stop & Shop in Stamford (Ridgeway) for 30 years.

Maryann touched many lives with her great personality and caring way and was known as “Ma” by many people that loved her. She enjoyed baking, traveling, attending concerts, Broadway plays and visiting the casino.

In addition to her husband Bert, she is survived by a loving son, Michael A. DeVincentis of Shelton, two loving daughters, Tammy DeVincentis of Shelton and Michele M. Pastore and her husband Michael of Greenwich, two brothers, Anthony Kuczynski and his wife Nancy of Shelton and John Kuczynski and his wife Geri of New Hampshire, two cherished grandchildren, Christina and Michael DeFrancisco of Derby and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Tuesday August 7, 2012, at 8:15 am from the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery in Derby. Visiting hours will be held on MONDAY from 4-8 pm.
