Jean Micklos, age 77, of Shelton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Manor in Trumbull. She was the devoted wife of Frank Micklos for 57 years.
Jean was born in Bridgeport on June 11, 1935 daughter of the late Joseph and Louise (Cefola) Verrilli and was a Trumbull resident for 37 years before moving to Shelton.
She was a bank teller for Peoples Bank and worked for Shapiro Marketing before her retirement.
Jean enjoyed travelling with her husband.
She was the loving mother of Robert Micklos (Marjorie) of Milford, Joseph Micklos (Robin) of Mobile, AL and Thomas Micklos (Lisa) of Shelton and cherished grandmother of Christian and Gregory. Jean also leaves her brothers, Anthony and Daniel Verrilli and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Friday morning from 8 -10 am at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton. Her funeral will leave the funeral home at 10 am for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph’s Church in Shelton at 10:30 am.
