Nicholas E. Vitale, age 87, of Huntington, passed away March 10, 2013 in his home.
Mr. Vitale was born in Bridgeport and was a longtime are resident.
He was a restaurant manager for McDonald’s Restaurant for over ten years. He was also employed by the Stare of CT where he worked in the Department of Transportation.
Mr. Vitale was a WWII Navy veteran and in his earlier years was an active member of St. Charles Church in Bridgeport and Our Lady of Grace Church in Stratford, where he participated in the church musicals.
He was predeceased by his wife Gertrude R. (Stead) Vitale and his sister Marie Voccola.
Survivors include his four children JoEllen Lisi of Stratford, Karen Moretti of Shelton, Nichols Vitale of Shelton, Richard Vitale and his wife Henrietta of Stratford; one brother Ronald Vitale and his wife Dolores of Trumbull; twelve grandchildren Matthew, Marc and Christopher Lisi, Michael, Alicia, Nicholas, Nicole, Bryan, Rebecca, Jenna, Anthony and Jessica Vitale; three great grandchildren Olivia Moretti and Cianna and Sierra Lisa; and many nieces and nephews.
Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull handled arrangements. Interment in Lawn Cemetery.
