Andrew J. Dzwonchyk, age 60 of Shelton, passed away November 11, 2012 at Griffin Hospital, Derby. Mr. Dzwonchyk was born in Derby, June 26, 1952, son of Andrew Dzwonchyk and the late Irene Fogarty Dzwonchyk. Andrew was a Naval Veteran having served for four years and after serving in the Navy, he worked as a self employed welder and was a member of the American Welding Society. He was a dedicated and wonderful father and grandfather who was a selfless generous man who always gave much and asked for nothing in return. He was a sacrificial caregiver who always put his family first. He will be greatly missed by everyone, particularly his grandchildren who always thought he looked like Santa Claus. He is survived by sons Andrew Jr. (fianc\u00e9e Amy Hastings), Joseph R., and twin sons Nicholas and Robert, all of Jonestown, PA; a daughter Autumn Krouse (Christian) of Lebanon, PA; sisters Dorine Del Po (Paul) of Naugatuck and Joann Schaeffer of Shelton; his best friend Howie Parkins; his former wife Daphne Hoke and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Celebration of his life will take place Wednesday 12 Noon at 8 Pinewood Crossing North, Naugatuck, CT 06770 where all friends and family are welcome to attend. Burial will be private. THE JAMES T.
