George F. Squinobal, age 87, of Huntington, passed away December 15, 2012 at Bishop Wicke Health and Rehab Center. He was born in Bridgeport, raised and resided in Monroe for most of his life before moving to Easton and then Huntington. He was a construction supervisor for SNET where he was employed for over 37 years. A WWII Marine veteran, he served in the South Pacific. He is survived by his wife Olive Beardsley Squinobal, of Huntington; his daughter Sherry Shevlin; his son Robert Squinobal both of Monroe; seven grandchildren, Michael (Laura) Shevlin Jr, Katie (Anthony) Fattibene, Mark Shevlin, Brian (Ashley) Shevlin, Thomas Shevlin, Sean Shevlin, and Sarah Squinobal; three great grandchildren Gracie Shevlin, Charlotte Rose Shevlin and Riley Shevlin and several niece and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter\u2019s Episcopal Church 175 Old Tannery Rd. with the Reverend Kurt Huber officiating. Interment will be private. Friends may greet the family at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
