Annette Lucille (Sanchione) Cunliffe, age 54 of Shelton, beloved wife of Richard Cunliffe, entered into eternal rest December 11, 2013. She was born in Bridgeport, September 23, 1959, beloved daughter of Frank Sanchione and the late Maureen (Duffy) Bolde, and step-daughter of Dolores Sanchione. She is survived by her devoted sons, Albert R. Carey Jr. (Jamie), Christopher J. LaQuay (Anisa), and Kevin J. LaQuay; and was the proud and loving grandmother of Albert Carey III, Liam Carey, and Leona LaQuay. She was predeceased by her sister, Marie Sanchione. Annette served as an EMT, volunteering for Echo Hose Ambulance, Shelton and later working from the Stamford headquarters of Access Ambulance Corps, Stamford for many years until her retirement. She took great pride and pleasure from her participation in the Park City Pride Drum & Bugle Corps, as part of the color guard assembly and served in the same capacity in high school. The happiest moments of her life were the times spent with her family, and she will be dearly missed. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton with Rev. Jorge Garcia officiating. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5 to 8 PM in the JAMES T. TOOHEY & SON FUNERAL HOME, 92 HOWE AVE., SHELTON.
