Esther Florence Skerlick, 92, of Shelton, formerly of St. Petersburg, Fla., wife of the late Franklin \u201cPanky\u201d Skerlick, died July 9, at Griffin Hospital. Born in Seymour on Feb. 15, 1924, daughter of the late Henry and Tillie Ulrich Schiek. Survived by three sons, Bruce (Madelene) Skerlick of Nebo, N.C., Franklin (Brenda) Skerlick of Tucson, Ariz. and Frederick Skerlick of St. Petersburg, Fla.; four daughters, Sharon (Robert) Maler of Ansonia, Karen Cassetti of Shelton, Nancy (Carl) Passaro of West Haven and Lynn Skerlick of Shelton; her brother, Raymond Schiek of Fair Oaks, Calif.; 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by daughter, Sue Skerlick and two sons-in-law. \u00a0 Services: Saturday, July 16, 10:30 a.m., Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street, Seymour. \u00a0Visiting hours: Saturday, 9 a.m. until the start of service.
