A Free Basketball Clinic, sponsored by the Shelton High School boys basketball program and Shelton Biddy basketball, will hold two sessions on Saturday, Nov. 18, at the Shelton Intermediate School.
The first session is for boys grades 1-3 from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m.
The second session for boys grades 4-8 takes place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Brian Gardiner Shelton High boys basketball coach and his coaching staff runs the Prime Time Basketball Camp each summer.
He and his staff will be teaching proper fundamentals for ball handling, passing, shooting and defending.
At the same time, in partnership with Shelton Biddy basketball, the Gaels will be conducting a Food Drive to benefit the Spooner House in Shelton.
Each clinic participant is being asked to donate a nonperishable food item (listed below) as they enter the clinic.
Donations will be collected in the lobby at the Shelton Intermediate School.

Boxes instant potatoes - Packages of gravy - Box/bag stuffing
Cans of vegetables - Pie crust mix - Pie filling
Cans of cranberry sauce - Jar of pickles - Cans of olives
Can Evaporated Milk - Coffee - Tea
Powdered juice mix - Canned fruit - Napkins
Sugar - Brownie mix - Cornbread mix
