Ben Van Tine came on in relief to complete the five-hitter.
Shelton is 4-2. East Haven is 2-4.
Anthony Steele led Shelton’s six-hit attack with two hits and scored two runs.
Jensen had a hit and a run scored.
Shawn Smith drove home a run.
John Riccio had a hit.
