Dan McCormack, a Shelton High graduate, was named to the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference first team in baseball.

McCormack, a sophomore outfielder at Westfield State University, drew a team-high 23 walks and led the Owls in runs batted in (27) while hitting in the leadoff position. He batted .316 and had team highs of 136 at bats, 27 runs scored, 43 hits, and seven stolen bases.
