Pierre scores 22 points, Shelton defeats Hillhouse in girls basketball

Clarissa Pierre had 22 points when the Shelton girls’ basketball team topped Hillhouse 55-43 on Tuesday.

Laryssa Guimaraes scored 12 points and Ashia Askew had five baskets to finish with 10 points for coach John Danielski’s Gaels, now 2-1.

Hillhouse (0-2) was led in scoring by Trinity Moody with 22 points.
