Shelton falls to Law rally in girls basketball

Jonathan Law’s girls’ basketball team came back from a 10-point deficit after three quarters to defeat Shelton 48-46 on Wednesday.

Behind the 26-point performance from Clarissa Pierre, Shelton (4-2) outscored Law 26-15 in the middle two periods. Keira O’Connor had nine points and Sophie Alkaul six.

Katie Konareski scored 14 points and Shelby Green 11 to lead Law (3-3), which received key 3-pointers from Mariyah Reid and Maddie Lula to spark the rally. Each finished with eight points.
