The Nation's Weather for Monday, August 3, 2020

Isaias will continue pushing northward tomorrow and track

along the Southeast coast from Georgia to South Carolina

throughout the day. Heavy rain and gusty winds will spread

along these costal areas from the early morning onward.

Isolated tornadoes will be possible for portions of the

eastern Carolinas as the rain bands from Isaias reach

farther north. Showers and thunderstorms will soak the Ohio

Valley and Great Lakes as another cold front swings through

the region. Farther west, afternoon thunderstorms will fire

up east of the Rockies and push eastward into the Plains

overnight. Cooler and more comfortable air will sweep into

the Pacific Northwest, while unseasonably warm conditions

persist for the Desert Southwest.
