Airbnb reveals the 'most wishlisted' house in Connecticut

cottage in Weston designed by Connecticut architect Jeanne Stoney with its own barrel sauna and outdoor rain shower has been named by Airbnb as the Connecticut house most often added to Airbnb wish lists or "most wishlisted," according to the property rental site.

The open-air designed "River Loft" was built in 2015 and sits on two acres of land with private river access, according to the listing. The 750-square-foot house has a full bathroom, queen-sized bed and a murphy bed. The outdoor space is highlighted by its river access with the house even providing its own water tubes, according to the listing.

Outside also has a grill, Adirondack chairs, a fire pit and hammock as well as the aforementioned four-person barrel sauna and outdoor rain shower.

The house is branded as a "guest favorite" on Airbnb with a 4.96 rating. Airbnb also notes that the house is in the top 10% of houses listed on platform due to "ratings, reviews and reliability." 

According to its listing as of May 14, the next weekend that the house is available is the weekend of June 7.

According to Airbnb data, trips booked less than a week in advance have been the fastest growing segment of trips for the platform over the past three years. Additionally nearby getaways (trips that are 50 to 300 miles away from a user's origin) comprise 25% of searches on the platform.
